Registration available for mentor teacher training
To receive mentor certification, new mentors for the Resident Educator Program must successfully complete two new face-to-face trainings titled Resident Educator Mentor Academy Days One and Two, which begin in June. To remain certified, previously certified mentors do not need to take additional training.  Prospective mentors may register now in STARS for the new academies through their individual SAFE accounts. They will find all training sessions in the state by searching for keywords: mentor academy, RE mentor academy, mentor training or RE mentor training. Participants will find it beneficial to take the two sessions on consecutive days, but they may schedule them on non-consecutive days if needed.
