Master Teacher designation renewal information is available
The Ohio Department of Education (ODE) recognizes that it is important for individuals who have earned the master teacher designation to maintain that designation. ODE is offering an expedited one-time renewal opportunity to all master teachers whose designations have expired or will expire by June 30, 2016. Individuals who are eligible for and select this year's one-time renewal opportunity will not need to complete another portfolio. Instead, by June 30, 2016, they will submit an application showing evidence of leadership and professional growth opportunities to the master teacher committee. TCESC maintains the master teacher committee for Trumbull County school districts. For complete information about renewal, visit the ODE Master Teacher Web page.
