On November 19th, TCESC Elementary and Middle School Deaf Education students at Champion had the opportunity to connect with American Sign Language (ASL) students from Austintown Fitch High School.
The high school students applied their ASL skills in a real-world setting, interacting with younger students and sharing their language and culture. Together, they engaged in various activities, including asking and answering questions, reading Thanksgiving stories, completing a craft project, and sharing a snack.
