Warren City Schools’ Lincoln PK-8 student Genevieve Ramey took home the top prize at the Trumbull County Educational Service Center’s Annual Spelling Bee, held Wednesday night at the Hubbard School Complex.
The 12-year-old seventh grader was among 34 students from schools across Trumbull County who competed in the event co-sponsored by the Youngstown/Warren Regional Chamber.
Ramey’s impressive performance earned her first place, while Emily Siegfried from Howland Junior High secured second place. Abigail Milo from Lordstown Elementary rounded out the top three with a third-place finish.
