Thursday, June 8th – Over 150 educators from Trumbull County School Districts gathered for the annual Summer Conference, an annual event focused on equipping educators with the latest knowledge and tools for the upcoming school year.
The conference featured a keynote address by Jessica Voltolini, Chief of Staff at the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce (ODEW). Voltolini provided attendees with critical updates from ODEW, shedding light on upcoming changes and initiatives aimed at enhancing educational outcomes across the state.
In addition to the keynote, participants engaged in numerous sessions covering legal updates for the new school year. These sessions ensured that educators are well-prepared to navigate the evolving legal landscape in education.
Amie Dean, also presented at the conference, offering invaluable tips and strategies for supporting struggling educators. Her insights were well-received, providing practical advice that attendees can implement in their classrooms.
