Trumbull County Middle and High School students recently explored skilled trades at the 5th annual Mahoning Valley Skilled Trades event at the Canfield Fairgrounds. Students gained hands-on experience in various fields like electrical work, carpentry, pipe fitting, concrete, and heavy machinery operation. This year, a new day was added for middle schoolers.

TCESC Education Extension Carpentry students also competed in a carpentry skills competition. Their math, hands-on work, and problem-solving skills were tested. This experience highlighted the importance of precision and practical application in the skilled trades.
