The 4th Annual Trumbull County Drone Racing League Tournament took flight at Warren G. Harding High School, with 16 teams competing in a day of STEM-focused challenges. Hosted by the Trumbull County Educational Service Center (TCESC), the event highlighted student skills in drone racing, engineering, and business.

Howland took home top honors, winning both the Head-to-Head Competition and the Overall Championship. Newton Falls earned first place in the Capture the Flag challenge, and McDonald was awarded Best Overall Presentation for their strong team branding and display.

“This event is about more than just racing,” said Jenna Jordan, TCESC Curriculum Supervisor. “It’s about collaboration, problem-solving, and exploring real-world applications of STEM and business skills.”

TCESC thanks Warren City Schools for hosting and Drones in Schools and MotoGP for their support. The tournament continues to grow, giving students exciting hands-on learning opportunities. https://www.tribtoday.com/news/local-news/2025/04/drone-teams-soar/
