End Bullying
Laura
The Trumbull County Educational Service Center’s Learning Center in Liberty is standing up to bullying with a “Carnival” to raise awareness. On Wednesday, October 26th, students heard from guest speakers, including Liberty school resource officers and retired Trumbull County Deputy Sherrif Ali Nagy, about the impacts of bullying and steps to take if you are being bullied.

The group participated in many games and activities, including face painting, voting for bullying awareness posters, musical chairs, a 3-legged race, plinko board game,  ping pong toss games, and much more.

“October was first declared as National Bullying Prevention Month in 2006. Since then, October has been a time to acknowledge that bullying has devastating effects on children and families, such as school avoidance, loss of self-esteem, increased anxiety, and depression.”
