During October, students in Kay Torres's class worked on creating various Christmas tree ornaments for Operation Evergreen. Operation Evergreen is a service project developed by the Ohio Christmas Tree Association. Tree Farmers throughout Ohio send live evergreens, along with decorations, to our military services overseas, during the holiday season, in hopes of bringing them joy during the Christmas season. The class will deliver the ornaments they created to Pioneer Trails Tree Farm in Poland, Ohio, in November so they can be part of this Christmas magic!
