The  ELL Consortium, consisting of 13 public school districts in Trumbull County, played a pivotal role in delivering essential school supplies, including backpacks, crayons, notebooks, and more, to around 200 students in Trumbull County whose primary language is not English.

On Wednesday, January 10th, 19 of those students received their supplies at Howland Glen Elementary.

This impactful donation was made possible through the generous support of the United Way of Trumbull County and the English Language Learner Consortium. The initiative is part of the broader "United 4 Kids" program by the United Way, strategically designed to foster student success in both academic and real-world scenarios. The collaboration exemplifies a commendable commitment to enhancing educational opportunities for students in the community.
