Civic Day
TCESC conducts Civic Day during which approximately 100 high school students from 20 high schools shadow community leaders throughout the county to learn about various jobs and responsibilities.
Civic Day in an opportunity for students to learn about civic responsibility and public service through first-hand experiences. Through observation and job shadowing, participating students gain insight into the duties and responsibilities of a career as a public official or community leader.
