Treasurer's Department

The TCESC treasurer provides monthly county treasurer meetings, a yearly conference, and ongoing professional development for county treasurers. The TCESC treasurer provides numerous services including budget preparation; development of appropriations; forecasting; and fiscal analysis. The treasurer also serves as interim treasurer on a short-term basis for Trumbull County districts in need of a treasurer.

The Ohio Auditor of State’s office maintains a system for the reporting of fraud, including misuse of public money by any official or office. The system allows all Ohio citizens, including public employees, the opportunity to make anonymous complaints through a toll-free number, the Auditor of State’s website, or through the United States mail.

Individual Insurance Changes
All insurance changes must be made within 30 days of any life-changing event, such as a birth, death, marriage, or divorce. For example, individuals with a child must add the new child to insurance within 30 days of the birth. Individuals needing to make a change should contact Renee Jones at 330-505-2800 ext. 106 or email [email protected].

Employees wishing to include a spouse in their insurance coverage must complete the TCESC Spousal Coordination of Benefits Form, which is available on the Employee Medical Insurance webpage.

Insurance Open Enrollment
Open enrollment for insurance will be held during the month of November. Insurance coverage for individuals who are newly enrolled will begin January 1. Employees wishing to make changes in insurance should contact Renee Jones at 330-505-2800 ext. 106 or email [email protected] .

The Anthem customer service number is 1-833-331-1067. The Delta Dental customer service number is 1-800-524-0149. The MMOH Vision customer service number is 1-800-382-5729.

Worker's Compensation Reporting
TCESC contracts with CorVel to medically manage its worker’s compensation claims. Any employee who is injured while working should immediately inform his/her supervisor and then call CorVel at 1-800-844-2500.

403(b) Plan Management
AFPlan Serv is the Administrator for our 403(b) Plan and can be contacted at 1-866-560-6415.

TCESC Services and Costs
All estimated costs may be higher or lower depending on the number of districts and students participating in the programs. All costs may change depending on the level of government funding for each program. NOTICE: RFP for Building Security Systems

SUBJECT: RFP for Building Security Systems

FOR: Trumbull County Educational Service Center

The TCESC is accepting proposals for purchasing new building security systems hardware, installation, configuration, and training. The proposal period will start on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, and end on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, at 12:00 PM EST. A pre-bid meeting will be available on Friday, April 5, 2024, at 9:00 AM at the TCESC central office (6000 Youngstown-Warren Rd, Niles, OH 44446-4603). Visitation and evaluation can be requested and scheduled during regular TCESC business hours starting Tuesday, April 2, 2024.

Either electronic or sealed proposals must be submitted to the Trumbull County Educational Service Center, 6000 Youngstown-Warren Rd, Niles, OH 44446-4603, by 12:00 PM EST (local time) on Tuesday, April 30, 2024. All submitted proposals will be opened and recorded at 12:00 PM on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, at the TCESC's central office. Proposals can be delivered in a sealed envelope marked "PROPOSAL— Building Security Systems" to Stacy Foster, mailed in a sealed envelope marked "PROPOSAL— Building Security Systems" or emailed to [email protected] with an email subject line: "PROPOSAL— Building Security Systems". Facsimiles will not be accepted. Verbal bids will not be accepted. Proposals received after this date and time will be automatically disqualified.
