RESIDENT EDUCATOR PROGRAM FOR BEGINNING TEACHERS
The Ohio Resident Educator Program is a two-year induction system of support and mentoring for new teachers. TCESC conducts a cooperative resident educator support program for Trumbull County school districts.
Successful completion of the residency program is required to qualify for a five-year professional educator license.
TCESC maintains a Schoology course with resources and timelines for the RE program. Click here to login to Schoology. Please create a Schoology account as a Student. After you have created an account, an access key is required to enter the Resident Educator course. The key is available from your district program coordinator. Schoology has an app available for your mobile devices that allows quick access to all the program information.
