The technology department is dedicated to effectively integrating technology into the classroom. The work of the department enhances the educational experience for students. The technology department also increases the productivity of business and helps to reduce operational costs. It is responsible for the network infrastructure, device inventory and maintenance, technical support and training of over 290 TCESC staff members and 48 TCESC classrooms, which are located throughout Trumbull County’s public schools.
In addition to supporting the TCESC staff, our department provides regularly scheduled trainings and meetings for the Trumbull County school district administrators and technology coordinators. The trainings support our districts with the necessary infrastructure for student learning.
The technology department provides assistance to districts in the following areas:
- Purchasing decisions for new hardware and software
- E-Rate and technical training
- Advanced troubleshooting of network and server operation
- Maintenance of technology systems
