The Ohio School Boards Association has recognized Trumbull County Educational Service Center Governing Board Member Al Haberstroh for becoming a recipient of the 2023 OSBA Service Award. The Service Award is a distinct award and is part of the OSBA STAR Awards Program—Service, Training, Aptitude, and Recognition. Out of more than 3,400 board members in Ohio, only 52 will receive the Service Award honor in 2023.
"As a proud member of the TCESC Governing Board, I am humbled and honored to have received the 2023 OSBA Service Award. My passion for serving the students of the TCESC and the 22 Trumbull County districts is what drives me to strive continuously to make a positive impact in education. I am grateful for this recognition and will continue to work towards our shared goal of educational excellence," TCESC Governing Board Member Al Haberstroh.
Haberstroh will be recognized at the Ohio School Boards Association Northeast Region Spring Conference on Monday, March 27.
Along with serving on the TCESC governing board, he serves as Southington Local's representative to the Trumbull County Career and Technical Center. Throughout his time as a board member, he has been involved with numerous positions at OSBA.
