TCESC gifted and talented supervisors coordinate this identification process and program services, staff inservices and curricular support for the following school districts: Bloomfield-Mespo Local, Bristol Local, Champion Local, Howland Local, Hubbard Exempted Village, Joseph Badger Local, LaBrae Local, Lakeview Local, Liberty Local, Lordstown Local, Maplewood Local, Mathews Local, McDonald Local, Newton Falls Exempted Village, Niles City, Southington Local, and Weathersfield Local.

Differentiation Instruction for Gifted Learners
"The biggest mistake of past centuries in teaching has been to treat all children as if they were variants of the same individual, and thus to feel justified in teaching them the same subjects in the same ways." Howard Gardner (in Siegel & Shaughnessay, 1994) Phi Delta Kappan. Differentiated classrooms feel right to students who learn in different ways and at different rates and who bring to school different talents and interests. By differing the content, process and products for students we can begin to respond to the needs of all learners.
